A .9-mile paved trail along Slade Lake, that also commemorates each of Edgefield's 10 Governors along the way with stone markers. The trail winds around the lake, over quiet streets and neighborhoods, a ball field and a wooden bridge (formerly a railroad trestle). There's also a fishing dock and lighting for evening strolls. The trail begins at Piedmont Technical College on Main Street.
