Kick the Holiday Season off right with the annual Edgefield Town Square Christmas Tree Lighting. Festivities start at 6:30 p. m. There will be an Edgefield area children's choir singing classic Christmas songs, accompanied by guitarist Tom Reed; custom ceramic ornaments for the kids to paint (provided by the Edgefield Clay Studio); hot Cocoa; a mailbox that ships directly to the North Pole so the kids can be sure Santa will receive their wish list; and of course, SNOW!!
Shop Edgefield this Small Business Saturday, November 24th! There will be vendors scattered around various businesses and the square/downtown area! Stop by and shop, dine, and enjoy our wonderful town this Christmas! Santa will also be out and ready for photos on the Square, Snow will fall throughout the day, and there will be hot cocoa, and some live music to boot! It will be a great day to support our town merchants and crafters.
The 45th Annual Edgefield Christmas Parade will be held on Sunday, December 2nd, beginning at 3:00 p. m. It is fun for the whole family!!
The Christmas Tour of Churches will be held on Sunday, December 9th, beginning at 3:00 p. m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The tour will then proceed to the Edgefield First Baptist Church, Trinity Episcopal Church and the Edgefield United Methodist Church, before adjourning for a reception at Magnolia Dale.
